Zoe Arispe                                                                    Program Supervisor Zoe Arispe is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Tx. After moving back to San Antonio, Ms. Arispe became a City Year Corps Member in 2014-2015. In 2015-2016, Zoe worked for KIPP San Antonio as a Special Education Paraprofessional.  Ms. Arispe has been involved with tutoring, mentoring, and/or teaching since she was in high school. Currently,  she is employed as a Special Education Co-Teacher at New Frontiers Charter School.

Jarome Watts                                                              Program Supervisor Jarome Watts is a graduate of Michigan State University in Lansing, MI where he pursued his degree in Human Resources with Concentrations in Mathematics and English. He continued to pursue his education with a Masters in Social Work from Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University with a concentration in Mental Health. Jarome has always had a passion for inspiring and teaching others. He has been a tutor or some form of mentor since high school. He currently is working at the Department of Family and Protective Services where he trains new hires aboutpolicy, procedure and best practice of Child Protective Services.

Jarome Watts is a graduate of Michigan State University in Lansing, MI where he pursued his degree in Human Resources with Concentrations in Mathematics and English. Nancy Mora Nancy Mora graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Ms. Mora also holds a Master of Arts degree in Teaching. She has 7 years of experience teaching math from grades 6-8. Ms. Mora has taught 5 years as a certified teacher in Las Vegas, NV. She started as a permanent substitute teacher teaching for 2 years straight. She then became certified working at an at-risk school for 4 of those years as the substitute then transitioning to certified teacher. She started her own Math club after school program during her 3 rd year of teaching. This is when she realized the need for one on one or small group tutoring for students. Nancy loves tutoring because it allows her to set focus on individualism versus whole group. Within the years she’s taught, she has been trained on different strategies to instruct on a variety of learning styles. In addition, she is bilingual. Nancy has experience working with 50% or more of the student population labeled, ESL students. Although, math is a universal language she specializes in teaching or tutoring math in Spanish when necessary. Nancy is currently substitute teaching for 2 districts in San Antonio and plans to get back into the classroom as a full-time teacher.

Hannah Mollie-West Hannah Mollie West is a graduate of Texas State University with a concentration Family & Child Development & Psychology. Hannah’s passion for working with children started at a young age. While in high school, she started working as a mentor in an after school program and from there she went on to be a youth soccer coach as well.  While in college she worked as a substitute teacher and was given the responsibility of being a teacher at the ExCEL After School Program. She worked as a Lead Pre-School teacher for over a year at a Headstart in Del Valle where she focused on making learning fun and hands on!

John Rivera John Rivera is a graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelors in Mathematics. Throughout his college career, John lead as a student mentor at Laredo Community College & Texas State University in various subjects. He also made Dean's List numerous times throughout his collegiate career. After graduating, Mr. Rivera worked at various public schools teaching all levels of mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, etc.). Currently, Mr. Rivera works as a 6th grade math teacher for Idea Public Schools. 

John Rivera

John Rivera is a graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelors in Mathematics. Throughout his college career, John lead as a student mentor at Laredo Community College & Texas State University in various subjects. He also made Dean's List numerous times throughout his collegiate career. After graduating, Mr. Rivera worked at various public schools teaching all levels of mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, etc.). Currently, Mr. Rivera works as a 6th grade math teacher for Idea Public Schools. 

Erica Dauzacker Erica Dauzacker is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin, earning a degree in Psychology and Education. She has worked as an after school elementary teacher, a middle school teaching assistant, and assisted in elementary and middle school theater productions. Most recently, she has interned at the Austin Center for Child Protection, working with families that seek support from child advocates. When she graduates in May, she plans to pursue a career in early childhood education. Her passions include reading and learning!

Erica Dauzacker is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin, earning a degree in
Psychology and Education. She has worked as an after school elementary teacher, a
middle school teaching assistant, and assisted in elementary and middle school theater

working with families that seek support from child advocates. When she graduates in
May, she plans to pursue a career in early childhood education. Her passions include
reading and learning!

Kelsey Taylor Kelsey Taylor is a graduate of University of California, Santa Cruz with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and an emphasis in Creative Writing. At her university, Kelsey took advanced writing courses to workshop her writing and edit the writing of her peers. While in school, Ms. Taylor volunteered as a Writing Assistant for an after school program for students including ESL learners. After graduating, she’s been tutoring students in English Language subjects and working as a freelance writer for various publications. She is passionate about teaching, and hopes to one day pursue a career in education.

Furthermore, Mr. Parsi experience includes being a tutor for Huntington Learning Center & test prep instructor for IES in New Jersey where taught in classroom settings as well as one on one, in subjects ranging from ACT and SAT Test Prep, to statistics and geometry.
