Online Tutoring is a WIN for ALL

Online Tutoring is a WIN for your child

Planting Seeds Tutoring & Test Prep’s goal in 2019 is to see the far-reaching benefits of our tutoring on a global scale. That’s why we’re gearing up to promote our online tutoring programs this summer within our Texas communities in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston.

In-Home tutoring. That’s what we’ve offered since the very beginning of Planting Seeds Tutoring & Test Prep, and that’s where we are every day of the week – in student’s homes, libraries, cafes all around Texas in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. We reach out to students and meet them where they’re at because we understand the importance of instructing at the student’s level. Learning does not only happen inside of a classroom. Also, It doesn’t only happen face-to-face.

Planting Seeds Tutoring & Test Prep offers online tutoring for those of us who are too busy to drive out to locations, for those who have unique learning styles, and for summer vacation (because retention is vital during long summer breaks)

“Welcome home. That’s how you feel when working with planting seeds. The tutoring is catered to each students’ individual needs and the tutor is able to build a great relationship with each students’ family.”

Tutoring to Fit the Modern Family

Online tutoring benefits those with unique learning styles.

Online tutoring can benefit children in multiple and unique ways. Especially for those of us who have ADD (*raises hand*)/ADHD, and for students who have 504 accommodations. I’ve seen firsthand the effects of utilizing online features and quizzes with a student who has ADD. One day not long ago, after assigning my student online work, his eyes were locked onto his iPad as he answered question after question, watched video after video, of algebra. For an entire hour!

He was having a blast learning algebra! All I had to do was lesson plan around his learning style after months of working with him one-on-one and only seeing slight improvements. It was a wonderful thing!

This was because he has ADD, and he is an extremely visual learner. Online clicks with him (pun intended), and I use my computer in each of our tutoring sessions. His math grades have increased three letter grades in just a few months, whereas before progress was slow. Lesson planning around students is what do we best, because we hire qualified tutors who have a lifelong love for learning.

Tight schedule between soccer, band, and karate? No problem.

I tutor nine students throughout the week, some of which I meet multiple times each week and even every day! That’s why, when parents want to reschedule, it can be tough for the both of us. I know from experience that multiple children mean multiple schedules to fit in and around, and parents desperately need downtime. Online tutoring is a great way to have children engaged and learning in a proven-to-work pastime from the comfort of home. That means no strangers are bombarding your kitchen table with arrays, beginning blends games (say that three times fast), and endless dry erase markers. Online tutoring solves the mess of packing away multiple littles into the car to drive to the library for an hour of tutoring AND students get to wear their PJs (so Dad doesn’t have to dress anyone! Win-win!).

Online tutoring may be the solution for A+ grades in 2019
